With a brief from director Ceri Payne, this job for the Discovery Channel involved creating a promo for their program “Ice Pilots”. The concept was based around the idea of tempers shattering and people cracking. The show footage was projected onto 3D geometry which we shattered using Cinema 4D adding extra particles and chunks of glass to accentuate the shattering effect.
